Great!

High Altitude Routes in Pinzgau & Pillerseetal.

Experience a week full of hiking in the most beautiful hiking region of the Salzburger Land, the Pinzgau with its famous holiday resorts Zell am See and Saalbach-Hinterglemm. Furthermore, you must not miss the opportunity to take a trip to the idyllic valley of the Pillersee in the Tyrol! Every day an impressive mountain backdrop greets you, every day a new mountain range, starting at Steinernen Meer along the rugged tops of the Leogang and Lofer mountains to the Kitzbühel Alps and the Pinzgau meadows and mountains. The glorious highlight of this hiking week is the view over more than 30 mountains, more than 3000m in altitude which are situated along the Pinzgau mountain route. You can see the „König Glockner“, the Kitzsteinhorn-Glacier, High and Low Tauern and the Bavarian Alps! You are also treated to some fine local delicacies, such as the Pinzgau ‘Bladln’, ‘Nidai’ and ‘Buchteln’ ensuring your energy reserves are restored quickly and with lots of flavour.

Character

 Mountain Hiking

Beautiful high routes on well-maintained paths and forest roads.  Tour requires good basic fitness level for walking days of up to 6 hours as well as surefootedness on just a few sections. In some cases comfortable alternative routes are possible. We suggest this tour to everyone who likes the alpine pasture scenery and beautiful views.

Walking with a dog

On this particular walking tour you have the option of bringing your ‘four-legged friend’. When booking, simply let us know the breed and size of your dog. Possible additional costs are payable locally on site.
